Multi-Channel Ring Generator is very useful for generating ringing current required by the field staff. It has 6 independent output channels. Each channel generates continuous ringing current which can be fed to the line under test. Current generated will be same as that of static ringer.

Connect the line to which the current is to be fed at the front terminal-pair. Then press the corresponding button at the top of those terminals. Ringing current will be available at that terminal-pair. In case the pair is short-circuited then the corresponding LED will glow (loop indication).
Each channel can be used either for giving ringing current to both the limbs A & B, or on a single limb by shorting one of the terminals of the multi channel ring generator to the exchange earth.
In case the ringing current of high value is required then couple the two neighbouring pairs in series. Here also one of the terminal can be connected to earth.
