Introduction

This is a three in one  unique product very widely used in DOT. With this tester we can check normal subscriber telephone line .We can check  exchange side as well as line side parameters. Moreover we can perform ISDN potential tests.

So instead of keeping different  testers we can conduct thorough testing of telephone line & preliminary testing of ISDN lines.

 

 

Technical Specifications

Unit will conduct following tests :

Exchange side Testing :

• Checks ISDN supply on the line. If the line under test is having any ISDN supply then that will be indicated on the meter when “ISDN” switch. is pressed.
• Checks Exchange voltage.
• We can check exchange dial tone on telephone hand set

Line Side Testing :

• Checks presence of AC voltage on A & B limb.

• Check Battery on A

• Check Battery on B Limb.

• Checks Earth on “A” Limb

• Checks Earth on B Limb.

• Checks for any short circuit between A & B.

• Gives Condenser click.

• Displays loop resistance of line when far end is shorted.

• Generates the tone for catching the pair.

• We can give ring to the subscriber. If the subscriber lifts the handset, then we will get LED indication.  Thereafter we can talk to the subscriber.
